Asia-Pacific Operation Center for the 21st century.
Facilitate the government and the private sector to reach
policy consensus through the guiding force of the private
sector.
Analyze strategies for the globalization of NII industry and
assist the private sector to intercommunicate with other countries.
Implement the projects, sponsored by both public and private
sectors, to upgrade the NII industry.

Conduct pioneering researches, such as electronic commerce,
integration of 3C technology.
Take great effort to provide professional input to arbitrary
and controversial projects with a neutral perspective for
public and private sectors.
Facilitate the policy of deregulation of Telecommunications
services.
Facilitate development of the Internet Content industry.
Explore the key issues of high-tech development and play a
advisory role to the government, private sectors and academia.

Within two years, we completed various studies on Communication,
Computer and Consumer Electronics (3C) Digital Integration,
NII water resources networks, Distance Education, Electronic
Commerce, Telecommunications, and Internet Content. The concrete
action plans resulted from the above studies have been widely
adopted by both the Government and the industry.
On the principle of public interest, We hosted numerous conferences
that are well responded and recognized by the public and private
sectors.
Since the establishment of CommerceNet Taiwan in November
1997, our devotion to promote the applications of XML, electronic
catalog and supply chain management has caught the industry
eyes.
